Renting a Jeep or car on St. John is the best way to explore the many beaches, coves, and island landmarks around St. John. A four-wheel-drive jeep or sport utility vehicle is recommended for your stay. Although we are only 7 miles long, the roads wind along either the shorelines or across the top of the island, and pulling over to take in the views (and pictures!) are a favorite pastime of island visitors. With 40 beaches on our tiny 21 square mile island, you will want to take advantage of "personally touring" St. John.
