Getting to St. John
St. John is accessible via a 20-minute ferry ride from St. Thomas, which has direct flights from many U.S. cities. Fly into Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on St. Thomas, take a taxi to Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie, and catch the ferry to Cruz Bay, St. John. St. John Weather and Best Time to Visit
St. John enjoys warm tropical weather year-round with temperatures averaging 80 to 88 degrees. The high season runs from December through April when the weather is driest and most comfortable. Summer and fall offer lower rates and fewer crowds, though hurricane season runs from June through November. The shoulder seasons of May and late November offer excellent value with warm weather and smaller crowds.
