My family and I have been coming to STJ for years, usually renting a villa at the Westin. This year we decided to go rogue and try a private home. Estate Rose fulfilled all of our expectations, and we have not a single complaint. The views over Great Cruz Bay were outstanding. The vegetation was beautiful and well manicured. The multi-level decks, bbq area and pool/hot tub area were all superb and well maintained. The great room/dining/kitchen areas were comfortable and welcoming. The furnishings were high end, tasteful and extremely cozy. The kitchen was beyond functional and was so well-equipped that it would meet the standards of most professional chefs. The bedrooms were similarly well appointed and tasteful, and the bathrooms were modern and spotless. The house also comes equipped with beach chairs, beach towels (could have been a few more) and coolers--such a pleasure not to have to schlepp stuff from home or rent. The location is unbeatable--a short walk to the Westin, five minute drive to the Starfish Market, eight minute drive to Cruz Bay and about 15 minutes to the north shore beaches. Management was welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. Estate Rose was a real treat and worth every every nickel of the in-season weekly rental. I would recommend this villa without hesitation and would certainly rent it again.

There aren't enough words to describe how utterly amazing the estate rose is. The property and views from anywhere you stand is breathtaking and the house couldn't be more comfortable, equipped and designed better than what it is. The house allows for ample individual privacy and plenty of space to gather as a group whereever you choose to do so. We are sold on the estate rose and will stay there each year we come. It is also a perfect location on the the island being a 10 min drive to town and to the beaches. Thank you so much Mark for all your help and hospitality and making sure our stay there was the best possible.

Estate Rose is absolute paradise! I just returned from an eight day stay. The first half of the trip was a girls getaway with the second half a romantic vacation with my husband. I thought the pictures on website were beautiful, but my expectations were far exceeded in person. Breathtaking! The grounds are amazing and so beautifully kept. The living quarters are top notch with access to a gourmet kitchen, game room, library, workout area and outdoor patio and grill. The pool area is surrounded by luxurious outdoor furniture with a variety of options to sit in full sun or be shaded. The views are stunning from any direction on the estate. The owner has thought of every detail, including robes and coffee pots in each room as well availability to a concierge for activity planning. One day we had in home massages that were the ultimate in relaxation.

I have been to other islands before, but this was my first visit to St. John. We loved the feel of the island. Very casual, easy going and everyone is extremely friendly. I loved that the staff at the bars and restaurants are so outgoing. I feel like we made friends with everyone we came in contact with. We did take an all day boat trip via See and Ski. The tour was awesome! We were on the water from 8-5, seeing most of the VI's and stopping at several. Capt. Daniel was so knowledgable!

I will definitely return to St. John and Estate Rose. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I can't wait until next time!

Estate Rose is so gorgeous, I almost don't want to tell anyone - this property books fast and it should :). The property itself was well laid out, allowing for lots of quiet moments away from the group, yet, the group spaces worked perfectly. The kitchen was equipped with anything you could need to cook a gourmet meal or mix the perfect drink. The bedrooms were spacious and the grounds beautiful. Having a 'media' / game room was just what we needed for the kids in the heat of the day. Most of all, Mark and his team at Seaview Vacations were so easy to work with and responded immediately to any small tweak that may have been needed. We wanted to book for the same weeks next year, but it's already booked! If you can get one, make a booking now! You won't be disappointed.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful vacation at Estate Rose. Mark was very helpful answering our questions prior to arrival and making plans to get us to the house upon our arrival. The view at Estate Rose was perfect in all directions and the location was very close to downtown. The Westin is a short walk away and we booked a private charter with Captain Dan from there which met all of our expectations and more. This walk was also convenient when we needed a taxi if our other taxi driver, Mario, was not available which was not often. We cooked every morning and most nights at the house and the kitchen has everything needed including most spices. We went to all markets and would recommend Starfish Market because they had everthing. The house is very private and the layout is great for groups. We would definitely book this house again through Mark and his staff.
